On 21-24 January 2019, the UL organised a workshop within the ERASMUS+ project “International E-based Diploma and Professional Certification in Special Education and Inclusion - SP-EDU”.

For Egyptian partners, the the practical activities were led by experts from different fields – Dr. paed. S. Tūbele (a Professor of the University of Latvia), M. Reigase (a Head of the Special Education Department of the National Centre for Education of the Republic of Latvia), L. Margeviča (a Chief Specialist of the General Education Schools Division of the Education, Culture and Sports Department of the Riga City Municipality) as well as Mg, psych. E. Vanags and Mg, psych. S. Vilciņa. The workshop participants had an opportunity to learn about good practice in special and inclusive education attending Riga Primary School and Riga Boarding School for the Deaf and Hearing Impaired Children.
